A Message from the Headteacher

St. Brigid's School is an established two form entry Catholic primary school, which has served the Northfield community for over 50 years. We have an excellent relationship with the local community and have high expectations of the children in our care.

Our Mission Statement is:

"We education our children in a Catholic community with Christ at the centre."

We are a faith community and this is the essence of our school and is reflected in all areas of our school life. Strong links between, the home, school and parish. The spiritual development is of prime importance.

St Brigid's Catholic Primary School and Nursery provides a broad and comprehensive education for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years, within a caring and positive environment based upon the Gospel values.

The school has achieved the Schools Achievement Award in 2001, 2002 and 2003, the Quality Mark Basic Skills Award in 2003 and again in 2006 and Healthy Schools Award in 2004. We are proud of our achievements but will always strive to improve.
