A Message from the Headteacher

Rednal Hill Junior School is situated in the south west of Birmingham. The school shares a spacious site with the adjoining Infants school.

We are a three form entry school which wants to develop pupils into responsible and independent learners working in partnership with the parents.

The behaviour in school is good and visitors always comment on the calm working ethos.

Over the past few years we have improved teaching and learning through Interactive Whiteboards and are currently working on raising standards in writing and problem-solving.

Other improvements include strengthening the partnership with parents, increasing the facilities on the playground and helping pupils to evaluate their own work.

A particular feature of the school is the Breakfast and After-school provision which is offered to our school community.

We have been awarded Basic Skills 3, The Healthy Schools Award and Investors in people.
