A Message from the Headteacher
Welcome to St. Joseph's School, Kings Norton!
St. Joseph's is a one-form entry Catholic Primary School situated on Selly Oak Road, on the border between Kings Norton and Bournville.
The School was founded in 1907, and has a long history and tradition in the area. It was rebuilt on the present site in 1994/5.
As a Catholic school, St. Joseph's aims to create a religious and moral climate that will enable children to develop and mature, both educationally and socially. We offer all our children, irrespective of ability, a broad and balanced curriculum, and a variety of after-school activities, including sport, art and craft, and ICT.
We are proud of the good teaching in school, and high standards of attainment that our children achieve. While recognising that every class of children has different abilities, were are deservedly proud of topping the Birmingham Primary School League Table in 2006. The school has very supportive parents and good links with our parish.
The school admits children from all faiths whose parents value our Christian ethos.
Further details about St. Joseph's can be found on our new web site due to be launched in the 2007/08 academic year. Alternatively, parents can contact the school directly.
